iOS 12.2 Developer Beta 3 Changes

Recently, Apple released the third beta of iOS 12.2, for developers. It consists of slight changes from the last iOS beta, including a significant privacy bug patch. This update has been released for a few days now, so let’s check out the interesting changes here.

First off, let’s talk about the minor features that’s changed in iOS 12.2 beta 3. There’s a change in the Apple News header. It said “Apple News”, but in this update, the title has “ News” instead. This creates a less intrusive design in the Apple News app. The lock screen shows the date properly, and the buttons on the Wallet app has been changed.

Next, the FaceTime privacy bug that made us feel concerned, is now gone. Before, many people thought the second version of the iOS 12.2 beta could resolve this bug. But Apple’s engineers had to put in effort into this stringent work, so they released the finalized version of this big paper patch on this new beta. Now iOS users can use Group FaceTime again!

Lastly, controlling your Apple TV with your iPhone is now more easier to use! There’s a redesign in the Remote app, with a noticeable difference from the last iOS 12.2 beta. Tiles on the remote app has evolved into a streamlined design, and the icons are bigger than before.

The iOS 12.2 betas left many significant improvements in iOS 12 for several weeks now. It’s been a success to see how the iOS 12.2 betas improved over the last few weeks. Once this update releases to the public next month, it’ll have more improvements than the last ones. Alongside the iOS 12.2 version, the iPad, new AirPods, and the AirPower we’d longed for, they’ll roll out on March 25th!
